ok in the passed my bf’s car has broken down so many times. this is a different car we will be driving to another state with but my question is how do i prepare for a breakdown or car trouble?

what tools do i need if car goes dead or something like that. if it overheats what steps do i take to cool it off. i dont know anything about cars but i dont want to be stranded in some state where i dont know anyone to call. plus i would like to show him that i DO know a thing or do about cars : )

is there like an emergency kit i can buy that has all the tools if so what kind…what else would i need to take? we are taking a Uhaul with us so maybe we need to jump start it if it goes dead.

what are the main problems that normally go wrong when you are traveling with a car for the first time? we will be goin at night time if that helps any.

So I havent worked out in over a week because i was traveling and now i’m back at home and i’m too lazy to start exercising again! i dont’ want to lose all my gained strength but i’m too tired to start again! will i lose all my gained strength if i don’t work out soon? help!!!

I am astounded by the STORY of Sarah Palin’s 5th birth. It is unbelievable that a 7 month pregnant woman would not go straight to the hospital after her water broke while she was in Texas. How could you get in a plane to Alaska instead of rushing to the nearest hospital? The air pressure of the airplane is not allowed for late term pregnancy.

Some of my Indian friends at work have recommended I travel around India. I have the money to do so, but I don’t have a companio - in any case I prefer to travel alone.

I have had some good advice about keeping money aside for bribes, and not going to restaurants or bars alone, and hiring a driver, rather than taking taxis.

I’m looking at going to Dehli, Chennai, Kerala, and Bihar, where my friend is from.

Is it safe for me to travel in India? Any advice?

Im searching for a small truck or car with a 4cyl engine. I live in the Aiken SC area. I need it for less than 2000. Im in need of this vehicle because of all the traveling i do between school and work. It needs to be reliable. Body condition doesn’t have to be perfect, just nothing with holes (unless minor). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ok so where I work in order to take any days off, you have to get so many over time hours. Which I think is ridiculous. I thought employers hated giving overtime. I mean it’s good if you need hours or want to make more money, but it’s just crazy. I told them sometime this summer I might be goin out west for a few days, I said a wedding. Then I bought the plane tickets and made sure I reminded them in I thought “a timely manner”. I told them like 2 and a half months ahead of time. Then my boss was like, well here you need need over time hours to take days off work. In their hand book it states if you need more than 2 days off you need to talk to the supervisor. Ok well I needed a thursday and friday off and possibly the monday and tuesday depending on the flight times and travel. I already get wayy more than 40 hrs. a week. Sometimes I come in 1 to two hours early and stay sometimes the same after. Then they said check your pay stub to see the hours accumulated and it said five and i was like wtf, but there was some paper I had to fill out for that earlier, and I was like wait a minute they didn’t tell me this when I got the job and it’s not in the hand book. I do extra stuff for them all the time outside of work, you think they would give me a break. The stuff I do is a really long story in itself but it wouldn’t even matter if i was there or not cause it’s not even top priority it’s really petty stuff. But I’m still going, I’m going to see if I could make hours up. I used my money for the ticket,let them know I was leaving in advance. I just don’t think it’s worth the shit I do there, I mean I don’t want to lose a job, but who knows maybe I will find it better out west. What do you think I should do? Thanks!

I’m seriously considering joining the Navy. I think it would be a great opportunity to travel and see the oceans and have different experiences..It is also a good way to support yourself (ie. college scholarships, loans) is it a good idea for a girl to join the navy? Is there really all that prejudice of men against women in the military? Is there any chance that I’ll be sent to Iraq? This might be contradictory, but I would NEVER and could never kill another human being even if forced to do so..isn’t there other aspects of the Navy that could have need of me? What do nurses do? Is bootcamp really difficult and how in shape do i have to be? I have all these questions..can anyone reccomend a website? Thanks a million =)
